Default Fuel pump question - 02-03-2012, 08:50 AM

Hey guys!

Just wondering if anybody knows if any Toyota vehicles have a direct fit pump that is equivilant to the Walbro 255 lph pumps for EFI AE86? i.e. Supra, Camry, etc?

The reason is that I'd rather try to be mostly Toyota components, but as you all know, I'm good for aftermarket as well.

LMK & thanks!

I think it's 190lph. Make sure you get it with the relay.

Why do you need 255?

Your motor now or in the future won't even need 255, not even a 4agte needs 255.

Heck a 2jzgte does fine with 190.

255 is a little too much for your motor, imo.

Totally useless overkill is one thing, having a high capacity pump with a restricted fuel line, return line, wiring & maybe FPR is something else.

+1 for 255lph not being necessary.
Either way, you'll need a good FPR to regulate pressure and not cause too much back-pressure in your lines.
