How you ask a question makes a huge difference to how much help and/or flak you get.
I've been a n00b on various forums I was looking for help on, and I don't think I've ever gotten a hard time. You just need to put the smallest effort into making your question coherent and you'll be fine.
Things are going fine, nobody needs to change. Besides, people don't change, and if they do, they quickly change back. Don't worry about it ;).

I think in that case it'd be better for me to not come around at all.
And leave us here with all the 18 year olds who just traded their honda for an ''ae86'' and have a million questions. And there will always be morons that ruin forums for alot of people. I think it makes members stand out that are here for the for the right reasons.

ehh kinda, not really. I have been into RWD Japanese for about 2 years now, been in love with Toyota for ~1 year. I've just been lazy and broke. But I've been an auto enthusiast for many years now

I think even if its an easy question, if asked politely, and in [common] english, then yes, point them in the right direction, maybe just by a search result post. If its hard, help them straight forward, and if they are an ass, blow em out of the water. You're good at that ;)
